5. Ease Bug Bites

When you are annoyed by the irritation of a bug bite it is mainly due to the anticoagulant fluid which is injected at the time of being bit. Banana peels contain high levels of polysaccharides which are anti-inflammatory by nature. Rub an itchy bug bite, such as a mosquito bite, with the inside of a banana peel to reduce the swelling and irritation.
