7. Get Rid of Fruit Flies

Make a fruit fly trap by placing a old banana peel inside an empty, clean yogurt container or other plastic vessel. Puncture a few holes in the lid, leave the peel inside and once the flies enter they cannot escape. It only takes a day or two to clear a fruit fly infestation.
