Night and Day
The story of the twins’ different skin colors was picked up by the media on their 18th birthday. Inside Edition did an interview where Lucy said, “Maria was outgoing whilst I was the shy one.” Lucy was introverted, but started coming out of her shell as they got older. Maria was happy to strike up conversations with strangers. This difference in personality prevented the twins from being as close as other twins. It wasn’t until they grew older that they would become closer.
