Nifty Thrifty: Keep Your Banana Peel!

13. Buffing Your CDs

One of the worst things about using CDs and DVDs is how easy it is to scratch them.  You could spend money on a kit, or get someone at a game store to repair them, or you can try this neat trick. Using the white part of the peel, rub the underside of the disc. The wax of the peel will fill in any nicks and scratches. Remove the residue with a soft cotton cloth, then clean and buff the CD using some glass cleaner.
