Céline had announced that she was going to take a break, after having 13 successful albums released in the 1990s. Wanting to take a break, stemmed from the difficulties she faced in conceiving a child, after six years of marriage with René. Céline even underwent two fertility operations. However, their long wait was finally over when their son, René-Charles Dion Angélil, was born on January 25, 2001.
