Céline’s mother, Thérèse Tanguay Dion, was well-known in Quebec for being a fantastic cook. Céline must have inherited her mother’s cooking skills, because in 1990, she opened her own restaurant named Nickels in Quebec. Later on, it would become a chain of restaurants all around Canada.
