Lauryn Hill was an R&B and hip-hop music queen, in the late ’90s and early 2000s. Unfortunately, Hill has had some money troubles when it came to paying her taxes.
The singer decided not to pay her taxes making the claim that things like “manipulation” and “climate of hostility” disturbed her creativity, from 2005 to 2007. However, this resulted in her getting sentenced to three months in jail, and also Hill was ordered to pay the IRS $554,000.
