Cyndi Lauper is known as a music icon in the 1980s with hits like ‘Girls Just Want to Have Fun.’ However, Cyndi found herself having to declare bankruptcy after her first band broke up.
Cyndi eventually had to start waiting tables and had to perform in bars, just to earn a living. She may be doing better now- but it was difficult to understand how such a big star, could end up in that much debt.
