When you find yourself thirsty after a hard workout, it is best to avoid the craving for fizzy drinks and stick to water. The are high in chemicals, sugar and have very little nutritional value. Your body needs hydration after exercise and a glass of carbonated cool drink is nowhere near equivalent to a glass of water.
