Crisps, chips, salted nuts and other quick snacks are very high in sodium which is not what your body needs after a workout. This is due to how the sodium content lowers the potassium levels in the body which are needed to recover from your exercise. One loses a great deal of potassium when you put your body to work and salty food will do nothing other than deplete potassium even faster.
