8. Mixed Breed
There are thousands of dogs just waiting in shelters for loving homes. Mixed breeds come with plenty of benefits. The diversity in their DNA puts them at lower risk for many of the health issues purebreds face. Additionally, many are past puppyhood and already housebroken and trained on basic commands.
