Perhaps most well-known as racing dogs, the Italian Greyhound is well-suited to life with a senior. Friendly and docile, these dogs manage quite well is small spaces despite their larger size. They are also quiet dogs, so barking does not become an issue. With a lifespan of 12-15 years, “Iggies” make perfect companions for seniors.
