15. Japanese Chin
One look at the Japanese Chin can make you fall in love. They are particularly well-suited to seniors and are often used as therapy dogs. Less mouthy than many other toy dogs, they do well in areas where neighbors might not appreciate a lot of noise. Their coats are easy to care for and a quick romp in the yard meets their exercise needs. Loving little lap dogs, it’s no wonder many seniors choose the Japanese Chin.
