Great Dane
A truly majestic breed, Great Danes are intensely loyal to their families. They are relaxed and laid-back with kids of all ages. Despite their giant stature, they often fancy themselves as lap dogs. Because of their sheer size, they are not well-suited to apartments. They do not require vigorous exercise, though they are more than happy to play every now and then. They require early socialization and training to polish their manners. They can be fiercely protective of their humans when called for, but generally they truly are gentle giants.
