Irish Wolfhound
Tipping the scales at 115 to 180 pounds, the Irish Wolfhound may seem intimidating at first. Upon closer inspection, we find that they are an incredibly friendly breed. They are quite notably attached to their own humans and welcoming to any visitors. They are not suited to apartment living and require a fenced yard. Irish Wolfhounds are easily socialized with other dogs and indoor cats making them perfect for multi-pet families. Their coats require a weekly brushing and they need daily exercise.
