Wood floors add appeal to any home, but they are difficult to clean because they are easy to damage. First, sweep the floor. Next, mop the floor with a solution of one cup of vinegar, 10 drops of peppermint essential oil, and one gallon of hot water. Be sure you don’t let water pool on the floor by frequently wringing out the mop. This method does more than just clean your floor – it makes it smell amazing, too!
