Even though its main job is to clean your dishes, your dishwasher still needs to be washed. Over time, a dishwasher begins to smell, and that’s how you know when you need to clean it. All you need to do is place a cup of white vinegar on the top shelf of the dishwasher and apply a thin layer of baking soda on the bottom. Then, run it on the hottest cycle, and after the cycle is complete, your dishwasher should smell fresh again.
