19. Packing Peanuts and Pots:
Packing peanuts allow for good drainage, they are cheaper than soil and way lighter. These are all good arguments to add them to the bottom of your pots. Just make sure to put a layer of landscape fabric in between the peanuts and the soil, so that it doesn’t slowly sink to the bottom of the pot.
