1. Eggshells as Fertilizer
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day—even for plants. As you may already know, plants thrive and grow best in fertilized soil. One way to achieve that is to add some eggshells to the soil as it provides the soil with calcium as well as repels pests like snails and slugs. Next time you make an omelet, put the shells in a plastic bag, smash them up, and put them on top of the soil. Repeat this process as frequently as you’d like.
