11. Freshen Old Socks

The stains, smells and other bacterial residue on old, well-used socks are no problem when you have vinegar at your disposal. Add a cup of white vinegar to an old pot filled with water. Drop in your stained clothes once boiling, turn off the heat and allow them to soak overnight. Just give them a wash the following day and they are as good as new.
